Welcome
Sometimes people arrive looking for therapy. Sometimes they arrive simply knowing that something feels hard to carry on their own.
One-to-one support here offers a quiet, attentive space where we can begin with whatever feels present for you.
We can take things at a pace that feels manageable, and see what feels helpful from there.
One-to-One Support
People come for one-to-one support for many reasons. Sometimes there’s anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm. Sometimes a sense of being stuck, unsettled, or out of step with yourself. Sometimes there are no clear words at all.
What’s offered here is not a single method, but a way of working that is attentive, grounded, and responsive to what you bring.
How I work
My work is shaped by many years of embodied practice and therapeutic training. At its core is a person-centred orientation: beginning with your experience, meeting you where you are, and working at a pace that feels manageable.
I am currently in the final year of my Person-Centred Counselling course and am a student member of the BACP. While I am not yet a qualified counsellor, this training deeply informs how I listen, relate, and hold therapeutic space.
Alongside this, I offer specific forms of support, described below.
HypnoCBT Therapy
I am a qualified and practising HypnoCBT therapist. This work combines cognitive-behavioural understanding with hypnosis, imagery, and focused attention.
HypnoCBT sessions may be helpful for:
-
anxiety and stress patterns
-
habitual responses that feel hard to shift
-
unhelpful thought cycles
-
emotional reactivity or stuckness
This approach is more structured than counselling, and we work collaboratively with agreed intentions, while still remaining responsive to what emerges.
Zero Balancing Bodywork
Zero Balancing is a gentle, hands-on form of bodywork that works with structure, energy, and awareness.
I have been a Zero Balancing practitioner for nearly three decades, and this work remains a core part of my practice. Sessions are quiet, attuned, and non-invasive, and many people experience them as deeply settling.
Zero Balancing can be a supportive option when:
-
tension feels held in the body
-
words are hard to find
-
the nervous system struggles to settle
Personal Journey Work
Some people are not looking for a defined therapy or modality. They simply want a space to explore their inner life with honesty, support, and care.
These sessions draw on everything I bring — embodied awareness, therapeutic training, reflective dialogue, and practices that support regulation and presence. We may talk, pause, notice, or work with the body or breath, depending on what feels appropriate.
This is not a treatment protocol. It is a relational space for inquiry, integration, and return.
