Physical Training

Maintain and improve your physical health and wellbeing

We bring simple, direct and effective principles of Shaolin training and Zen practice into our physical training, to help you achieve the results you want.

As you gently become aware of your body, its limitations and capabilities, you allow the space for change to happen.

This is very different to the ‘no pain, no gain’ approach found in some martial arts or fitness systems. There is no forcing the body, so there is no resistance. You start from exactly where you are.

Our classes lead to improvements in:

  • Balance
  • Flexibility
  • Mobility
  • Strength
  • Fitness
  • Body awareness
  • Release of pain and tension

'Using chi kung has already made a big difference to my body relaxation in movement, which means I have a lot less pain, and a lot more flexibility. I enjoy seeing my improvement.'
