Zen yoga and Qigong focus on three unified aspects of training leading to improved physical, emotional and mental health:
Physical Alignment
Flow of Energy
Awareness of Mindfulness

The classes emphasise breath, movement and awareness exercises that help release held tension and anxiety, improve posture, flexibility, mobility and strength.

 

Shaolin Kung Fu is more than a system of fighting; it is a way of cultivating mind, body, energy and spirit.

This style of martial arts has been developed over a period of 1500 years at the Shaolin Temple, and across China. It teaches kindness, compassion, resilience, discipline, and meaningful action, without the need for violence.

Knowing how to defend yourself provides an inner confidence and calm. The training gives a safe platform for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual fitness and health. Spiritual here means everyday connection, meaning and joy.

You don’t need to be strong, fit or flexible to join these classes. You always start from where you are. The training can be done sitting or standing or as a movement exercise and is suitable for people with disabilities, including wheelchair users.
